Reposting my review from GW:
An excellent story in its early draft that's even better now! I have already said that cruel rampages aren't my usual thing, but it turns out that when a story is good, it's GOOD. Everything from the setting to the descriptions to the plot is elaborately crafted, without overwhelming the reader. And I just love how you take inspiration from real history and religion! I wish more writers would do it. Special shout out to the similes too; in what other story on this site can you read that someone writhed through a hole like a newborn shark?
I admire the gall you have to worldbuild such a unique and memorable city, only to destroy it all in a mere 6000 words. You will be sorely missed, Capriote o7
Frankly, this story just goes hard. Other rampage writers, take notes. I'm excited to see what you write next.
[Repost Over] Turns out what you wrote next was great too, just as I expected >:) I'm really grateful I got to help out a little with this story before it was released, and I'll certainly be keeping my eyes peeled for any sign of Eternity's return <3

So for a little bit of context, I haven't read a rampage story in it's entirety for... at least two years? As much as I love rampages, a lot of them struggle to grip me because they follow the same beats and generally do the same thing without much variation. That being said, I was HOOKED with this one, like oh my god. Any horny thoughts aside, the amount of unbridled creativity on display in this story is absolutely incredible. From the setting, to the character herself, to how she interacted with her environment and how her many powers worked and how they were presented, it's INCREDIBLE. I had so much fun reading through this! Your writing style is amazing too, there's so much potent imagery being expressed here.
This story also coincidentally leans on a lot of my personal favourite fantasies with giants. I've always been interested in giant golem girls, and this was such a cool interpretation of one. I'm also a HUGE bitch for giants climbing things, and tower cities are probably my favourite settings for rampages just in general. I also really enjoy giants interacting with city walls, as well as crush, vore and insertion, so the vast majority of this story feels SO tailor-made for me, honestly.
I appreciate how you managed to maintain a sense of awe, majesty and fear in this story even with erotic elements, in my experience a lot of rampages tend to put too much focus on being horny which breaks the tone it would otherwise have, but you balance it perfectly. The story is without a doubt really hot but there's so much to talk about even outside the sexiness, and that's the thing I look for the most in size fiction. I'm kinda sad this is a one-off purely due to the setting and the characters being so interesting. I wanna know more!!
But yeah, that's enough rambling. Tl;dr it's amazing, I love it, I can't wait to read more from you!
Thanks so much for your review! <3
It's funny you mention the same-iness of a lot of rampage stories recently, I have the same problem with rampage/cruel where it tends not to hold my attention long and I just kinda pump and dump, even if it's really well made. It was actually a conversation with some peers that sparked the drive for me to finish this story! Some people were comparing different types of stories, and rampage specifically was getting a lot of critique for being really boring once you've read a couple. So Lament was as much of a challenge to myself to try and break the mold with rampage stuff as it was inspiration by Les Claypool's cover of "Locomotive Breath". >w<
I'm glad my less common giantess hit a lot of beats you enjoy but don't see much too! Always glad to contribute to a niche-within-a-niche <3
Don't tell anyone, but I've been tossing around some ideas for a sequel. It's more of a psychological horror thing than another rampage, but Eternity/Malikta may very well be returning in the future~ >;3
Thanks again for contributing reviews to the site! Every one helps the community grow and attracts more awesome authors/peers/future friends, as well as being vital feedback! <3
