This was a great story to read as a beta reader a while back! I quite enjoy the world and the socio-political disparity between angels and mortals. As I said in my original takes, I want more! The world leaves a lot of room to grow and has a lot of life. I think it works very well as a wider world to explore, and I think Vayne's story is a good way to bring the reader through the world.
