In a world where some people have the power to shrink others at will, some are terrified. Others, however, are too eager to give up their life to these "Bigs", congregating in informal "shrinking spots", waiting like lambs for the slaughter for a stranger to show up, shrink them, and take them for themselves to do as they please.

That is the situation that Manny finds himself in. Enthralled by the idea of giving all of himself to a godlike stranger, he is sitting at a shrinking spot bench next to a popular running path, waiting for someone to jog by and seal his fate.
