In the midst of a sudden storm, Alyssa, a human girl living alone, comes across the broken and battered body of Lace, a little fairy who has miraculously escaped the ongoing destruction of her home in the woods nearby. After realizing the fairy yet lives, Alyssa takes it upon herself to care for her.
