Chapter Notes:

The second half of a set of 21 images and accompanying captions inspired by the Major Arcana of the tarot. Separated due to filesize limits. Originally designed for a Giantess World QOTD.

Ⅻ - Ultimatum

Dilemmas are unavoidable obstacles in life: two or more choices where either option allows one to gain something but also lose something in turn. When faced with such an Ultimatum, she must learn to choose, letting go of the past to embrace the future. When drawn, it symbolises the act of letting go, fully embracing her choices without regret; reversed, she is mired in indecision and stalling.

ⅩⅢ - Change

Just as dying is an inevitable part of living, so too is Change an inevitable part of existence. The changing of all things, physical or symbolic, is a fact that she must learn to embrace so that she can grow as a person. When drawn, it symbolises the process of change and transformation; reversed, the refusal to accept change, letting the world pass her by with wilfully closed eyes.

ⅩⅣ - Discipline

It is in all living beings' nature to grab all possible advantages with avaricious greed, yet by doing so, she risks alienating those who might otherwise become allies, friends, or useful pawns. Cultivating a strong personal Discipline, she learns how to hold back for the sake of long-term gain. When drawn, it symbolises moderation and balance; reversed, an excess that rewards instant gratification at the expense of the future.

ⅩⅤ - The Temptress

Temptation comes in many flavours. The Temptress knows them well, blending sensuality and material wealth to dominate lesser beings. She knows all the finer things in life, and is not afraid to trample over others to get them. When drawn, it symbolises the dominance of material senses; reversed, the obsession and addiction such elation brings.

ⅩⅥ - Catastrophe

One can go through life, executing everything perfectly, taking every care to avoid mistakes and seize every opportunity, yet lose it all in an unexpected Catastrophe. Losing everything to ill fate, she must rebuild everything or fall into despair. When drawn, it symbolises chaos and upheaval; reversed, narrowly avoiding such a fate but delaying the inevitable.

ⅩⅦ - The Saviour

When she comes into the fullness of her power, mortals will perceive her as a symbol of puissance and divinity. The mark of a truly great tyrant is that she becomes the very symbol of hope that gives her subjects meaning even as she imposes her undeniable will upon them. When drawn, it symbolises hope and safety; reversed, the smothering overbearance of one holding life and death at her whim.

ⅩⅧ - Lunacy

Rare is the moment when she shows her true self to others; only the closest confidants and lovers should know her without any form of deception. To others, an air of Lunacy acts as a mask to shield her thoughts and gird her from being taken advantage of. When drawn, it symbolises facades, delusions, and false airs; reversed, being taken in by self-delusions.

ⅩⅨ - The Promise

After a long journey, she has finally achieved the success and recognition she has longed for. The Promise of an eternal reward at the climax of her harrowing ascension, when she attains all that she has strived towards. When drawn, it symbolises success and freedom from earthly obligations; reversed, the realisation that one's goals are not what they first seemed.

ⅩⅩ - Judgement

She is where she was always meant to be. The pinnacle of ambition and service, where she may pass down Judgement from on high upon the lesser beings beneath and behind her on the long climb to the firmament. When drawn, it symbolises clarity, surety, and the making of right choices; reversed, the contemplation and purging of self-doubt.

ⅩⅩⅠ - Apotheosis

At the end of all things, She has ascended beyond mortal ken into the realm of divinity: a Goddess in truth, the accomplishment of a lifetime's aspirations set in stone. Apotheosis is a momentous event, upon which the fabric of reality trembles as a new weaver of its rules emerges from the throes of godbirth. When drawn, it symbolises completion, accomplishment, and perfection; reversed, the need to relinquish the past in order to move forward into the future.
