Through the framing device of a support group for Malyenkiye (Tinies), we navigate several short stories set amidst the dismantling of the former Soviet State apparatus and the rise of Russian hypercapitalism and religious fundamentalism in St. Petersburg during the summer of 1999.  Most of the members were born tiny.  Faeries, pixies, sprites, domovoi, borrowers, leprechauns, and other little people.  But the newest addition to the group was shrunk and is now trying to adjust to their new life.  Features a large and diverse ensemble cast in an urban fantasy historical fiction multisize melodrama.
