“Right… this should work…”
Muttering to himself Umbra looked upon the abandoned fort he stood before. Decently far from civilization, what had once been an important position on the frontier turned into a redundancy as the borders pushed ever outward around it.
Long since left to rot, stripped of anything valuable, it made for the perfect place for magical experiments. With minimal chance of hurting someone else and away from the prying eyes of the others Umbra couldn’t have asked for much better.
Readjusting the sack slung over his shoulder he stepped through what remained of the fort’s front entrance. Gazing across the courtyard there was nothing of note beyond scattered rubble and overgrown plantlife as the surrounding forest worked to reclaim this place, eventually settling on one structure that seemed both large enough and intact enough for his purposes.
Good, it’d be an extra layer of separation from the outside world.
Walking towards it, the structure itself wasn’t anything of particular note, simply made from the same stone as the rest of the fort. Umbra wondered if it wasn’t a barracks… or perhaps the armory? Nothing inside would confirm an answer regardless, picked clean of anything useful long ago as not even the wall fixtures had managed to go undisturbed. With only a scant amount of light coming in from small gaps in the wall as well as what used to be a few scattered windows it was rather difficult to see much of the room.
Still, it was good enough for him.
Setting his pack down beside the door the mage busied himself in preparatory work, beginning with a simple spell, a decently sized orb of purplish light formed above the room’s center; bathing the area in its soft glow. Next would come picking through what rubble remained strewn about, pushing aside most of it to the far corners of the room, he repurposed some bits and pieces into a makeshift desk of stone blocks and wood planks.
That it all appeared to be going smoothly thus far caused him to smile a bit.
But, this was far from what he came here for. Grabbing his belongings once more he began unloading the sack’s contents onto the table, with a rapidly growing pile of books, notes, and scrolls testing the limits of the ad hoc desk rather quickly. Yet it did prove to hold in spite of the weight.
Shifting through the collection Umbra poured back through his notes and previous writings on the topic. He had spent far too long getting to this moment to leave anything up to risk.
After all, should this work the mage would obtain knowledge far beyond what any academia was willing- or allowed- to teach.
Truthfully it excited him. Ever spurred on to deeper, more esoteric, knowledge that the young mage was. Stopping to reconsider what probing such depths would mean had long since slipped his mind
Satisfied that everything was in order he stepped back toward the center of the room, taking a deep breath, Umbra extended his hands out to either side; channeling his magic, muttering incantations, a series of runes formed in a circle around him. Slowly crawling outward in all directions, a soft purple glow emanated from each rune and the lines connecting them, the steadily increasing power behind each sigil kicked up dirt, debris, and soon scattering paper in equal measure.
All he had to do was cross his mind through the boundaries between realms and the knowledge he sought would be his… Just a little more force and then-
An explosive backblast of magic tore through him like white-hot flames, blanking out his vision Umbra collapsed to the ground in a crumpled heap. A cry of pain echoed through the room before finally dying down, the runes surrounding him fading away to nothing. Even the light he had conjured before had vanished, lost in his broken concentration.
Panting heavily, Umbra slowly dragged himself to his knees, hands braced against the ground before one was lifted to wipe away a stream of blood that fell from his nose.
“Dammit… It happened again,” He sighed, eyes shut in defeat as he simply allowed himself to recover.
However, a series of airy giggles soon filled his ears. Eyes snapping open he looked towards the source of the noise and found… A fairy?
“Um…”
Blinking a few times in confusion he rubbed his arm over his eyes before looking again… There was, indeed, a fairy fluttering before him. Pink eyes staring back at him with a rather smug smirk on her face. Roughly the size of a child’s doll she seemed rather typical for a fairy; fair skin, long green hair tied in three distinct ponytails, iridescent wings fluttering behind her… The only truly standout feature was the fairy’s heaving breasts, threatening to break free of the purple dress that only barely managed to contain them; they must have been nearly the size of her head… perhaps bigger.
Blushing faintly Umbra averted his gaze for a moment, netting another series of laughs from her, before he pushed himself up into a seated position on his knees.
“You know, it’s rude to stare,” She playfully chided him, still hovering in place, she glanced curiously around the abandoned room she found herself in. Now with loose papers joining the rubble on the floor.
“So you’re the one that summoned me?” The fairy asked as her attention turned back to Umbra.
The young man before her did cast a rather pitiful sight; bright blue eyes wide, mouth slightly agape, the heavy robes he wore concealed most of his body but the large ram horns poking out of his messy black hair were impossible to miss.
“Summoned…?” Umbra repeated, eyes defocusing slightly in mild confusion before widening again upon realizing what just happened. In his efforts to cross the void, he must have mixed something in the process up, instead allowing for someone else to cross the boundaries.
“A-ah, forgive me!” Voice cracking slightly as the realization hit him like a ton of bricks, he frantically shook his head, “That wasn’t my intention…”
The embarrassed look on the mage’s face, combined with him looking to the ground in shame, only served to amuse the fairy further who found her attention drifting to the books left open on the makeshift table behind her. Flying towards it her eyes darted across the pages with ease, the few remaining notes of Umbra’s on the table seemed to fill in any gaps on what his actual intentions were.
As this was happening he lifted himself back onto his feet, shuffling between each leg awkwardly, Umbra wasn’t sure what to do now. Summoning one of the fey had been the last thing he wanted to do, well enough aware that dealing with one of their number was a risky gamble at best. One that not even the gods were willing to do…
Opening his mouth to speak again he was cut off as the fairy piped up, “Ah hah, so it’s knowledge you want?” Looking back at him the knowing grin on her face unnerved him.
“W-well… Yes, I suppose so…” He agreed meekly. Attempting to speak further several times before cutting himself off each time, eventually sighing and turning towards the door, “May we step outside, please? I need fresh air…”
“By all means!” Came the chirping reply, the fairy zooming by him as the pair exited the dark room.
Sighing again, Umbra slumped against the exterior wall. Sliding back down into a seated position his brain struggled to come up with a proper solution, tired though it already was and now stuck dealing with the results of his mistake he looked towards the fairy once more. She seemed curious about the world around her… or at least the extent of the abandoned fort before she realized it was nothing special.
“But where are my manners!” She exclaimed, turning back around to Umbra she held a hand to her chest, “My name is Lucy! What’s yours?” The excitement in her voice never seemed to falter for a moment, fluttering up closer to Umbra’s face as she awaited his reply.
But… Should he even give her his name? That was a bad idea, wasn’t it? Not helping was that the more he looked at her the more something seemed… Wrong. The fairy’s hair sometimes shimmered into a glimpse of what appeared to be tentacles, skin shifting to a pinkish hue before returning again.
However, he was just on the wrong end of a spell gone wrong. Perhaps his eyes going screwy wasn’t too surprising… Nor did he want to risk getting on the bad side of Lucy.
Eventually sighing again he bowed his head down in greeting, “My name is Umbra… And, I’m truly sorry for bringing you here.”
But Lucy merely brushed him off, “Far from it, actually! You just opened the door for me, so think of it as ahh…” Her voice trailed off, a gesture of her hand keeping the thought lingering until she found the right word, “Me walking in!”
Tilting his head to the side he slowly nodded along with her words, “Right… I suppose that makes sense.”
“That being said…” Leaning closer to his eyes she got a kick out of watching Umbra go cross eyed trying to keep track of her, “You must be pretty powerful to tear a hole between realms like that…”
“Even if it wasn’t your intention,” The fairy teased with another round of giggles, leaning ever forward just enough to give him a direct view of her cleavage.
Blushing again he turned his head off to the side, “Y-yes, well…” Umbra stammered before taking a deep breath, “I wouldn’t call myself anything special… It was a failure in the end, after all,” He said, if it was a reminder to himself or to Lucy it wasn’t clear. Perhaps both. His voice held a tone of defeat either way.
Smirking, Lucy fluttered up closer to him. Seating herself on top of Umbra’s head she made herself comfortable between the two horns, idly running a hand along the base of one as she hummed in thought.
“Ya know, I could probably help correct that little mistake of yours.”
Nervously gritting his teeth at the light weight now perched upon his head, Umbra still didn’t try to prevent it, instead only offering a meek response, “You could?”
“Mmhm! You’re a mage ain’t ya?” Lucy had now shifted her position, leaning heavily forward until her head was now at the top of Umbra’s view, “Just lemme give you some of mine! You’ll be getting it right in no time!”
Locking onto the fairy’s grinning face Umbra’s eyes narrowed in a sign of visible confusion, mouth hanging open slightly in thought for just a moment before he spoke again.
“But… I thought fairies were skilled in the magic of nature? This isn’t…” His voice drifted off as he stopped himself mid-sentence, racking his brain for what information on the fey he had this… wasn’t right.
Nature… wait…
The thought was disrupted at the feeling of Lucy launching herself off his head, using the sheep’s horns like a springboard; she twirled once in midair before returning a few feet in front of his face. Giving him a casual shrug, the smile was still plastered on her face.
“Fairies know a lot of things ya know?” Lucy stated like it was the most obvious thing ever, folding her arms over her chest she wasn’t very subtle in her efforts to make her breasts even more visible, “But, if you want to keep spinning in circles…”
The tone of her voice made him flinch slightly, feeling a bit dumb for not expecting something like that, “I guess that makes sense…”
The two sat there in silence for several more moments. Umbra lost in his own thoughts while Lucy continued to stare at him expectantly.
There was… too much wrong about this. Nothing he was attempting should have summoned one of her kind through, if anything, what should have arrived through such a gateway was…
A cough broke him out of his thoughts.
“Well?”
Perking back up Umbra looked towards Lucy again, opening his mouth several times but halting himself each time. This was… not a good position to be in. Eventually, however, he finally sighed and shook his head, “I’m sorry miss but… I’ll have to reject your offer.”
“I’ll… figure it out on my own,” He meekly added, mentally preparing himself for whatever might happen next.
And yet no immediate reprisal came, “Oh come on!” Lucy pushed further, the playfulness in her voice was still prevalent but there seemed to be a tinge of annoyance to it now, “What do you think is going to happen?”
“Ya know, much worse things can happen to someone if they keep failing like you did,” She continued, “Who knows what might break through next time? It might even kill you!”
“Well… Yes I suppose you’re not wrong,” The mage had to agree. He was playing with fire… In a sense.
“See? So c’mon! Lemme just give you the help you clearly need and you’ll have what you want in no time!” Flying closer to him, the fairy held out her hand.
Then it began happening again, the slight shift of her form… shimmering to something else. Umbra rubbed one of his eyes with the back of a hand but it didn’t cease until several more moments later. Lucy seemed to catch on to the way he looked at her, clearly trying to determine what was real and what wasn’t.
Withdrawing her hand she casually flew backwards several paces, the grin on her face turning to something altogether more dangerous. Something that caused Umbra to push himself further against the wall, a small tremble now visible in his form.
Pointing a shaky finger towards Lucy he finally spoke again, “You’re… you’re not a fairy, are you?” The terror in his voice was clear, but whatever this thing was it already had him effectively cornered.
“What do you mean?” Came the smug reply, the “fairy” gestured over her body with one hand, “Of course I am! What else could I be?”
Returning his hand to his side he tightened his robe around himself, to accomplish what he wasn’t sure but it offered a small amount of comfort nevertheless, “That’s not your real body,” He asserted again.
Lucy continued to grin at him for a few more seconds of painful silence before she closed her eyes and giggled again, “Well, I can see this isn’t working…”
Before he could ask just what she meant a bright flash of light seemed to erupt from Lucy. Blinding Umbra in the process and netting a bleat of surprise from him, it was only when the light cleared from his eyes was he allowed to see the full truth.
Breath catching in his throat, he was immediately made aware that he was all too correct about the fairy not being what she seemed.
Gone was the diminutive fairy and instead stood a rather curvaceous woman… Although “abomination” would be a far more accurate descriptor, the being’s skin was indeed the soft pink he had seen before. Her “hair” transformed to a trio of much longer tentacles, indeed, gone was even the dress she wore in her disguise. Body bare to the world for all the see besides a zig-zagging pattern of what appeared to be a metal like substance that covered her privates… Not that it was something Umbra was keen on learning exactly what it was.
Intense dark pink eyes bore down at him, the wild grin on her face exposing the set of razor sharp teeth she possessed. From his seated position the creature… Lucy… towered over him. He figured she must have been taller than most men.
Whatever she was… she clearly was not of this world.
Looking down at the trembling man with no small amount of amusement her grin only widened upon seeing Umbra withdraw his legs closer to himself, curling up in some effort to make himself look smaller no doubt. Blue eyes wildly darting around to find some way out of this situation that simply wouldn’t come.
“I gotta say, I’m impressed,” Lucy finally said, “Most mortals would have fallen for it by now. You’re smarter than you look.”
“Or, perhaps there’s something you aren’t telling me…”
Striding forward she crouched down in front of Umbra, the mage flinching away in response, but she simply reached forward and grasped one of his horns, “What are your secrets, my dear little lamb…”
Jerking his head to the side she forced him to look her in the eyes, leaning further in until their foreheads nearly touched, her own eyes narrowed. As if trying to find the answer within his.
For his part he couldn’t even manage to stammer out a full sentence, blubbering over himself in abject terror as she observed him.
And so it went on for several terrifying moments as Lucy hummed and hawed over his form. Perhaps trying to find her answer, or perhaps she merely enjoyed the look of dread on his face. The way his hands twitched and trembled as if trying to figure out what to do, how tears threatened to spill from his eyes… Such reactions never did get old to her.
“Maybe I wasn’t being forceful enough in my negotiations,” Came her eventual conclusion, Lucy’s voice was a dangerous purr as she slowly drew her face away from his, “No matter, I know how to make your kind reconsider~”
“W-wait, what do you-”
The man’s sentence was cut off as he watched her other hand approach his face, it opened up to reveal a perfect hole in the center of its palm. One he could see clear through but could feel there was something very wrong with it.
A feeling that became all too real as an unknowable magic began to form within its center, something utterly otherworldly that was unlike anything he had experienced before, but it felt like his body was being torn apart at a base level. He tried to scream, yet nothing left his throat, before in the blink of an eye his entirety was sucked bodily through the gap. Distorting and twisting to fit, he launched out the other side entirely in-tact albeit with an immediately noticeable change.
Tumbling end over end through the air was now a doll-sized reduction of what had once been a fully grown man.
Now fully able to scream, Umbra did just that. The surreal feeling of rocketing through the air coming to an abrupt, and painful, end as he smashed into something very soft and very pink. Dazed, and confused, he remained stuck against the plush surface until a series of giggles broke him from his daze.
Unable to fully grasp where he was and what was happening, he was granted no time to figure it out either as a set of fingers crashed into him; forcing him further against the unending pink until two digits pinched his head and carried him away.
For Lucy, she was infinitely amused by her plaything landing against her stomach.
Standing back up fully, she brought him closer to her face. Watching him kicking and squirming within her grip, she giggled and shook him side to side until he ceased his efforts.
“I wonder if this will change your mind…”
Shifting him dowards, she paused right when he was positioned above her breasts. With no further fanfare besides a widening smile, she released him to the sound of another scream. Watching his failing body fall through the air before impacting against her left breast, only to bounce off the plump mound directly into its twin, repeating the process with a smaller bounce before he slid feet-first into her cleavage.
Having enough wherewithal to brace his hands and feet against the surrounding flesh, Umbra prevented himself from fully submerging as his upper torso remained in open air. Trying to scramble his way out, he halted his efforts when Lucy coughed above him, the simple action sending his fleshy prison wobbling.
“Surely you can see how bad of a position you’re in, right?” She taunted, “Just give in now, and none of this has to happen~”
For all his nervousness, Umbra remained adamant about not accepting her deal, “N-no! I won’t!”
Lucy merely shook her head in mock disappointment, “That’s too bad… Guess I’ll just have to change your mind.”
Bringing her hand back closer to him, his struggles rapidly picked up as she extended a single finger. The moment Umbra managed to dislodge one of his feet from their confinement did the digit drop on top of him like an executioner’s axe.
In a single swift motion, he was shoved deep into her cleavage; a single yelp being all that escaped him before he was cut off from the outside world.
A pleasured sigh escaped Lucy, taking one breast in each hand she wasted little time in squishing them together. While it was preferable to her that her victims gave in without too much of a fight, she wasn’t about to deny there was something to be had in breaking them down.
To Umbra, his existence quickly became a sweltering hell of pink as the walls around him closed in again and again. By all rights, the sheer weight he was subjected to should have turned him into a red smear but something kept him alive through each and every heavy press; each one managing to flatten him in a new and interesting shape.
What shouts and blabbering pleas he was able to speak before the air was pressed out of him was lost against her skin, only registering to Lucy thanks to her otherworldly nature. Not that she cared to grace them with a response, only small moans and content humming left her as she focused entirely on her own pleasure.
Things only became worse for the mage once Lucy began to expand her range of motions. Slowly, at first, she began to knead her breasts in wide circles, the constant motion grinding Umbra into an unending tumble as he rapidly lost track of which way was up. A new ceaseless pain likewise made itself known now that he wasn’t even granted the mercy of intense pressure dulling it.
Subjecting him to one last final grand squeeze, Lucy at last released her chest with a final satisfied huff.
“There, that should do it~”
Looping one arm under her chest, she used the other to fish the man back out into the open. A moment’s effort required before she finally felt her fingers wrap around his battered form.
Pulling him from his hellish prison, she looked him over. Indeed, the mage looked as though he was on the losing end of multiple battles. Bruises coated most of his body, and his once flowing robes were tattered and torn, barely clinging on to his body as the pale skin underneath was revealed in several locations.
One could consider it a miracle that he wasn’t dead, but Lucy wasn’t one to break her toys too early, after all.
Holding out her other hand, Lucy lined up a clear shot and simply chucked Umbra through the hole in her palms once more. The process he went through before repeated itself, sending him through the same hell of feeling himself be ripped apart and reformed on the other end; this time an inverse of what’d happened before.
Hitting the ground on his back with a heavy grunt, Umbra rolled over multiple times before his momentum was stopped by the same wall he’d been against earlier.
With heavy breaths did he try to force himself up, only managing to bring himself to his hands and knees before Lucy cleared her throat and spoke up, “Well, whaddya say? Ready to reconsider?” Her tone was sickeningly sweet, in a similar fashion to when she was hiding as a fairy, yet the sadistic grin plastered on her face immediately belied it.
Umbra didn’t reply, instead he continued to force himself upright on shaky feet until he was standing once more. Though still dazed, and utterly terrified, a thought crossed his panicked mind that maybe now he could take his chances… One well-placed spell and maybe he could escape this sadistic creature.
With a tilt of her head, Lucy watched Umbra slowly move his two hands together just off the side of his hip, “You gonna say something? Or should I-”
For once it was her turn to be cut off. As within the mage’s hands a crackle of purple lightning sparked, condensed into a singular ball of energy, and then exploded outward. Sending a storm of blinding fog scattering throughout the area, thick enough to be impossible to see through-
Only for it all to be casually dispelled by Lucy, a simple circular sweep of both hands saw the clouds dismissed within the selfsame holes that had tormented Umbra earlier; the spell’s effect sucked up as though it hadn’t happened in the first place.
This alone was not enough to surprise her, shocking though it was for Umbra to witness, but what did take her by surprise was just how potent the magic had been. Fueled by one desperate gamble, it was far stronger than what was possibly required, and now that was something Lucy’s body had taken full advantage of as she began to surge upward in size.
Taking several steps back, her grin only grew all the more manic as her height continued to scale onwards and upwards. Her feet dug a continuous trench within the courtyard until it finally came to a halt.
Looking down at Umbra, she had to lean forward slightly to peer at him from over her breasts, planting her hands on her hips. She laughed upon seeing him scramble to try and escape, a pathetic attempt given he now only stood about as high as her ankle, “Ooh… Little lamb, you’ve made a big mistake.”
She laughed at her own pun, lifting a foot up she slammed it down before the fleeing mage. Outright flattening a significant portion of the structure she’d entered this world in, and hitting Umbra with enough force to send him tumbling through the air once more; crashing back down somewhere in the middle of the courtyard behind Lucy.
Finishing what she’d started, Lucy swiped her foot across what was left of the building. Bulldozing the rest of it beneath her, and with it, Umbra’s belongings and perhaps any real chance of undoing her summoning.
Turning back around to face him, she giggled at the sight of him now trying to crawl away.
“C’mere!”
With more speed than her size would suggest, she bent forward and scooped him off the ground. The sudden shift in height made Umbra dizzy before he was brought in front of Lucy, an all too familiar scene yet now with the situation flipped to a far more terrifying reality.
“I don’t appreciate that kinda pushback, you know,” She chided, trying and failing to keep a straight face, “Guess I’ll just have to try and change your mind again…”
Her singsong voice failed to do justice to the panic that now overcame Umbra as a new wave of pleading and begging came forth over seeing her hand bring him close to her bust. And, surprisingly, Lucy actually halted… For a moment, until her hand swung down and around to her other rather generous asset, “You’re right, I’m nice to look at back here too~”
Before he could really wrap his brain around what was meant, he was brutally slapped against an overwhelming asscheek. A pair of two fingers keeping him pinned against it as Lucy moulded him into it in tight concentric circles, pressing and squeezing him against it with all the force she could muster; only occasional cries of anguish made it to the open air in the brief moments his face wasn’t fully buried against her rotund rear.
A part of her considered trapping him in a similar manner to before as she slowly rolled him towards the center of her ass… Though she had far grander plans for him in mind.
After all, this world was new and exciting for her. Why not take the time to enjoy it?
Withdrawing her hand, she found it all too amusing upon realizing Umbra was well and truly stuck against it. A simple slap to her other cheek made certain to dislodge him as the jiggly surface proved impossible to maintain a grip on.
He collapsed back to the ground without a word, or much in the way of any sound. Only a low groan came from the barely conscious mage once Lucy turned again to face him.
“I admit, I’m impressed you managed to hold on this long,” She began, slowly raising a foot over him, “Normally, I’d take the loss and leave… But you? You have far too much to give me,” Her voice dripped with sadism, and as soon as she finished did her foot smash down on top of him. Driving him deep into the dirt and rattling the surrounding area.
But it had the effect she wanted of it as a deluge of his magical energies was forcefully sapped away from his body and into hers, and with it, another surge of growth as Lucy became even bigger.
Lifting her foot up, she stomped hard on him again. Once more growing, her bulk threatened to break free from the fortress entirely as her feet pressed against its walls.
One final time did she lift her leg and crush him under a mighty stomp, an explosive spike of energies sending her already giant form rocketing upwards even further as the fortress, and several dozen surrounding trees, were simply wiped away in the process with only churned up dirt and debris leaving behind any evidence anything had been there. Shifting her weight onto the ball of her foot, she ground him further and further down, twisting her foot side to side in an effort to extract every last bit of magic she could from him.
When the free transfer of magic finally stopped, she sighed happily. Looking around from her newfound stature, she grinned wickedly and snapped her fingers. Instantly, did an ornate necklace appear around her neck, and within its clear centerpiece lay Umbra; alive, if barely.
“We’re going to have so much fun together,” She whispered darkly down at him, taking her first grand steps into a hopelessly unsuspecting world.
