Story Notes:

Story stars both my own OC Maribelle and ZoriStory's OC Zori.

The Sunken Temple of Qarn. Since the fall of Belah'dia, it has been crumbling under the hot desert sun of Thanalan. Such temples are a tempting target for the adventurer in search of easy money… if only the still active traps and magical defenses didn’t have the habit of waking up every time someone came by.

Such defenses are usually taken care of by more experienced adventurers. One such group now stood in the Cameral Chamber at the center of Qarn. The last adjudicator had just been brought down by them. And as the Paladin and White Mage left the scene to see about looting the now once again silent temple, two adventurers remained in the room. An au ra Reaper, Maribelle Draconis, and a miqo’te Monk, Zori Demhage.

“Sigh…how many more of those statues do you think will wake up again here? They have to run out at some point.” said the au ra with an annoyed tone.

“Dunno.” responded the miqo’te, shrugging. “Gettin’ hired for somethin’ harder would be nice, but gil’s gil I guess.”

“Speaking of which, let’s get out of here and report that the temple is safe again, at least for now.” replied Maribelle, heading back out of the chamber.

As Zori turned around to follow suit, she noticed one of the fallen Sun Jurors crumbled a bit more from the damage it sustained, revealing an orange glow from within. She approached it, pushing the rubble out of the way, revealing what looked like a crystal cluster that had been carved into two humanoid figures, one much smaller than the other. As soon as the curious miqo’te picked it up, the glow ceased. Zori just tilted her head in confusion and placed it in her waist bag.

Appearing in front of the Free Company house, the miqo’te just walked past the fence gate and entered the front door.

“Hey Mari!” she yelled “Ya there budd’eh?”

“I am, I am, no need to yell, gods’ sake.” said an annoyed Maribelle, emerging from the stairway down to the company workshop. “I just teleported back, didn’t even have time to change into my crafting clothes.”

“Look at this though!” exclaimed Zori, pulling the unlit artifact out of her pocket. “Found that in one of the lil’ guys. Never seen something like that there.”

The woman with horns was puzzled. She tilted her head to the side looking at it, trying to identify the purpose of the object.

“Why would that be in one of the little statues? I guess we destroy them too fast to see the effect of whatever magic is in there usually. Put it on the table, I’ll go get my goldsmithing equipment. Maybe I’ll learn something by looking at it closer.” she said, turning back towards the door to the stairway.

“Aight, have fun with that, headin’ back out.” the tanned woman replied, placing the artifact on the table without much care.

That was probably a mistake. The impact of the object on the table caused it to glow intensely, nearly blinding the miqo’te who had placed it there. This got Maribelle to turn around again, but Zori was no longer there.

“Zori? Zori?!” She quickly walked back to the spot where her friend was standing mere seconds ago and before she could say anything more, she took a look at the now vividly glowing artifact, in front of which laid the miqo’te… barely around an ilm tall.

Zori opened her eyes but closed them again immediately with force. The glow was overwhelming. She sat up and tried turning and standing up. When she reopened her eyes, a massive and brightly lit orange screen awaited her. Confused, she looked up and saw a familiar sight in the illuminated face and scales of her seemingly much, much larger friend.

“Well then.” her booming voice was almost flooring to the tiny woman. “I guess we now know what that artifact does.”

The au ra pinched Zori between her gloved left index and thumb, the crushing force of the grasp instantly making the tanned woman lose her breath. She brought her all the way up to her face, just a few ilms away from her nose

“You must be getting used to this by now.” she said, making no effort to lower her voice for the sake of not blowing out the eardrums of her small friend. “Which means you also know what’s coming.” she finished, her lips that would easily completely smother the Monk forming a visible smirk.

Still struggling to breathe and with a ringing in her head from the booming voice that was teasing her, Zori simply let out a weakened chuckle. She indeed knew what was coming. And much as she’d never admit it to most people, she was looking forward to it.

Thus, Maribelle opened her mouth slightly, just enough to let her tongue slip past her teeth. She pushed her tiny friend against the soft muscle, smothering her between her index and the pink slimy surface. She rubbed Zori around her tongue, before removing her index, leaving her stuck to her tongue which she then retracted back into her cavernous maw and closed it, utterly immobilizing her against her palate.

The au ra’s treatment of her tiny mouth toy had been rather gentle so far… at least compared to what was coming. And knowing what was coming excited the miqo’te greatly, she wasn’t hiding it from anyone in this place as no one else would know she was there. She started moving her arms and legs, feigning resistance, in her mind wanting to encourage Maribelle to go further.

The movements seemed to indeed have that effect. The lips of the mouth Zori was in turned back into that same smirk as before. Maribelle started moving her tongue from side to side, rubbing her friend all along her palate until the movement squeezed her out from between the roof of the mouth against Maribelle’s incisors, which easily reached around Zori’s waist in height.

The tiny woman didn’t even have time to figure out where she was now, that the pink mouth muscle slammed against her, pressing her between it and the hard surface of Maribelle’s tooth, once more cutting out her breath. She then backed it up, Zori still stuck to the tip of her tongue. Feeling this was the case, Maribelle tilted her head to the right, causing the miqo’te to fall between her premolars against her cheek.

Dazed, Zori had trouble getting a grasp of where she was now in her friend’s maw, but she didn’t care. This had happened before. And she never could get enough of it. But she wanted it to go even further. And so she turned on her stomach against the cheek, using a premolar as support and started hitting against the au ra’s flesh with her fists, not to do actual harm, but to spur Maribelle even further on.

And indeed it did just that. Feeling the impacts against her cheek, the au ra slightly parted her lips, revealing her slightly parted teeth to the open air and letting the glow of the artifact in. The sudden brightness staggered Zori, causing her to actually fall on her stomach on Maribelle’s premolars…. Exactly where her friend wanted her to be.

Once the nearly blinded miqo’te opened her eyes, she only had a second to turn her head around and notice the upper premolars of her friend were now right above her. A quick thought crossed Zori’s mind as she took in the sight of her friend’s well maintained dentition.

“We’re finally gettin’ started”

The instant she finished her thought, the gnashers came crashing down upon her back, the force of the impact shaking her bones to the core, almost to a breaking point. Then Maribelle re-opened her jaw, only to slam it shut on her friend again, the crushing force the tiny Zori was being subjected to nearly unnoticeable to Maribelle who was treating her only slightly less harshly than one would treat a piece of gum.

A veritable rush of blood had hit the miqo’te. She was slightly giggling to herself in excitement, at least whenever she was able to take in enough air to do so between bites. But then Maribelle slammed her teeth on her… and did not reopen her jaw, leaving her friend stuck between her premolars, with the cavernous darkness of her mouth on one side and the glow of the artifact on the other.

Zori was wondering why she had stopped, at least for the very few seconds it took for the au ra to start moving her jaw again. But this time, back and forth. The tiny woman was now being subjected to a nearly inhumane level of crushing force as her horned friend began grinding her between her upper and lower teeth.

Maribelle didn’t feel much need to hold back, she knew her friend had their means of returning should anything really bad happen. But she thought she had done enough for now. So after what felt an intense eternity to Zori, Maribelle finally opened her mouth fully, causing the battered miqo’te to fall into the au ra’s open hand, slumping right atop the leather with a splat thanks to the saliva she had been almost entirely coated with inside.

Zori rolled on her back, sluggishly, her whole body was in pain after being subjected to such intense punishment. But the pain was far more invigorating than anything else, and other than some bruises and tears in her clothes, she was fine if exhausted.

“Still alive and kicking I see. Well, maybe not kicking.” Maribelle chuckled.

“One day… ya gonna feel it too. And you’ll never get enough of it.” exhaustedly responded the miqo’te at a volume nearly inaudible to any normal sized person.

The au ra turned towards the artifact again, bringing her right hand down to it so Zori could get a better look at it. The orange glow had dimmed a bit.

“So all of this started when you placed it down. Is it sensitive to impact or something?” wondered Maribelle.

“Dunno.” said a standing up Zori. “But I betcha somethin’ll happen if I just…”

Upon uttering those words, she touched the artifact with both hands. And something happened. The glow turned to a full yellow, and became blinding again, knocking the both of them over. The miqo’te opened her eyes first. And as she looked around, she noticed she was back at her normal size. But before she could even react to that, she noticed something. There was a distinct lack of horns in the room. Maribelle had disappeared.

“Mari? Mari?” expressed a worried Zori as she kept looking around.

But then, she heard something faint. Looking back at the artifact, a small silhouette was blocking a tiny bit of the yellow light coming from it. She leaned down and then she saw her. Maribelle had been reduced to the same size she was just at, in the same spot she herself had been shrunk.

“Zori! I’m here! Can you hear me?” yelled a slightly distressed Maribelle.

Her words were audible to the miqo’te, if barely. And when she leaned towards her, she was startled and stepped back, falling on her butt in surprise. The scale of the view was something she had never experienced before. She indeed had always been on the normal or large sized end of the scale, this was a first and she was heavily conflicted about it.

“Well then, that’s a new sight.” said Zori, tilting her head to the side in curiosity. Her words almost blasted Maribelle back, so unused was she to the volume of a much bigger person right next to her.

“Shhh… not so loud!” the au ra responded to the comparatively loud voice of her friend.

“Heh! A bit hypocritical of ya budd’eh. Ya literally just did the same some minutes ago.”

Maribelle awkwardly smiled, realizing that indeed she was now at the mercy of the friend she had just chewed up when she was at her current size. She then saw something coming for her from Zori’s side. Her left hand, tanned fingers pointed at the tiny woman. Before she was able to try and back up further, the hand landed on her, smothering her between the warm index and middle finger of her friend and the cold glass of the counter.

The large thumb then came from the back and locked her against the other fingers, a grip the likes of which she had never been subjected to. When she was finally released, she tumbled down the curled fingers, landing in the middle of Zori’s palm. Dazed, she looked back up and saw a face, grinning. The miqo’te’s piercing blue eyes were aimed straight at the tiny horned woman.

The realization of what her much larger friend had in mind hit Maribelle the second she noticed the tears in her outfit. Tears she was herself responsible for.

“So uhh… no hard feelings?” babbled the au ra who was currently laid down on her back, unable to stand up due to the unstable footing of the large gloved palm.

Zori let out a chuckle in response. “Heh! Ya know… I’m just thinkin’ about how this is a great opportunity for some good ol’ fashion’d restitution. Turnabout’s fair play after all, right budd’eh?” she said, bringing her hand ever closer to her lips.

Fear was currently a dominant emotion in Maribelle’s mind. But also… excitement? Eagerness? Being on the receiving end might not be so bad. But she didn’t have the means to return should the worse happen. And so the fear remained.

“I… ummm… ehh…..” she just couldn’t talk. The emotions prevented any clear thinking.

Zori then parted her lips, her jaw opening and revealing her pearly whites, her fangs in particular were intimidating for Maribelle, they were only just slightly less tall than she currently was. But more than that, the miqo’te’s warm breath washed over the au ra’s body. All of those feelings and sights were overwhelming for the inexperienced Maribelle, unable to resist… or did she not want to resist?

And then Zori tipped her head and hand back, causing Maribelle to tumble forward, landing right in the middle of her friend’s tongue tip. Before she could even react or properly take stock of the soft but slightly rough surface of the pink muscle, the light disappeared. Zori had closed her lips, before closing her jaw entirely, locking her tiny new mouth toy against the front of her palate.

Smothered, Maribelle felt a rush of adrenaline. She trusted her friend, but she didn’t know how far she wanted to go and she was in no position to resist. The pressure suddenly changed. She slipped down all the way to the dentition of the miqo’te, the tongue still smothering her but with a much harder and bumpy surface at her back now.

“Zori? I think we played enough, can you let me out now?” she weakly tried to yell, unable to take in enough air to speak louder due to the pressure.

Obviously this fell on deaf ears. And then it started. Still stuck to the tip of the miqo’te’s tongue, Maribelle was dragged all across to the left of her mouth, grinded against the back of the teeth. It was painful, like she was being dragged across a smooth yet bumpy floor. But to Maribelle’s surprise… her excitement flared up, nearly completely smothering the fear.

She tried moving some more, just to free up a limb, but she had no time. Zori was enjoying the feeling of her friend against her tongue tip and thinking about how she must have been feeling, she wasn’t about to stop. And so did she drag Maribelle all the way to the other side of her dentition. Maribelle was rolled there. The saliva, sticky as it was, still made her slippery enough to not just be attached to the tip of her friend’s tongue.

She was dizzy. She was hurt and bruised. Her clothes were showing some damage thanks to the combination of being grinded against the hard surface of the miqo’te’s teeth and her slightly rough tongue. But she wasn’t upset or scared somehow. She started to enjoy it.

But then Zori parted her lips  and her teeth slightly, allowing light to come back inside the saliva coated cavern that was her mouth. She pushed maribelle, causing her to be bent over forward between her lower left incisive and her first premolar.

Maribelle was having trouble even telling what was happening, where she was. But as her senses started returning to her, a large drop fell on her head. She wiped it and looked up, only to see Zori’s tongue above her, shortly before it fell on her. She was being squeezed to near suffocation. But she didn’t care anymore. The adrenalin she had in her blood and the intense treatment her friend was putting her under was such a unique feeling, she probably wouldn’t mind it happening again at some point.

She then saw Zori’s hand come back to the outside of her mouth, just before the tongue backed up and gave a bump to Maribelle’s butt, pushing her outside, making her tumble into the waiting palm.

The exhausted au ra was now laying down on the damp surface of the glove’s palm, slick with saliva. She sat back up after some seconds to a very smug sight. Zori was obviously immensely pleased about what she had done.

“So, how was it, first time bein’ the lil’ one?” Zori said with a satisfied tone.

“That… was… ahh…. I don’t have the words…” Maribelle replied, taking a breath between nearly every word.

“Fun? Blood pumpin’? Hope ya see now why I’m never complainin’ when ya do it, right budd’eh?”

Before both of them went further however, the glow of the artifact dimmed. As soon as they both noticed it, it fully stopped glowing. The moment the glow was fully gone, Zori felt a growing weight in her left hand. She turned to it and saw that Maribelle was slowly growing back up. She rapidly placed her on the floor, and a few seconds later both were back to their normal size. Still reeling from the whole experience, Maribelle chuckled.

“Seems it ran out of aether or something.” she wondered. “Might be good to keep it around… just in case.”

“In case ya want to be toyed with again?” teased Zori.

“No! No, for research and to… ok yes.” she shyly admitted, in response to which Zori laughed.

“Well, if ya figure this thing out and wanna do another round, I’d be down for more. Ya haven’t come close to experiencin’ all that bein’ small getcha.”

They both looked at each other’s outfits. Tears and slimy patches all over.

“We might want to change clothes, you know, before anyone else comes back.” said a slightly embarrassed Maribelle, to which Zori simply replied with a nod and a pleased grin.

Maribelle then picked up the artifact and just stored it behind the counter in an empty drawer. It probably wouldn't be the last time it would see use, especially now that Maribelle had experienced that. She would never admit it vocally, but she was looking forward to the next time she’d be on the receiving end.
